A.R.M.E.D. And Dangerous

After setting up my comlink I rooted around in my backpack for some new batteries.

Eoth, sat behind a huge ebony desk the last rays of the setting sun streaming through the plass-steal, reinforced, bullet proof windows. Here, I thought, is a man who doesn't like to take chances.

I first asked Eoth Why he wanted the role of Security Rep

"When I first came to Aartan people were all about fair trade, safety for everyone. They wanted to create a Haven for all, Rebels, neutral and Imperials alike. And that was something I wanted too. 

But I soon thought about who would make things go safe and fair?

things I will keep an eye on. And of course that everyone has
fun, especially those who help to keep our city safe!

Where do you think A.R.M.E.D. will be in 5 years

In five years I hope that we are the militia of the greatest city in the Galaxy. And that we have helped in achieving this. 

But only if we have maintained our initial ideals, of a Social, fair and fun place to be.

I see us as a part of the city, a part that is appreciated by it's citizens, because they see us as an agency that helps people out, not one that orders people around and killing all who oppose us.

And of course as a big Protective force that will make sure that all will be safe and sound at all time.

A.R.M.E.D.'s new Drop Ship

What do you see A.R.M.E.D.'s role being in Aartan Ridge

"First it was all about social control, make sure all trade goes fair and
people could all have fun. That is to say that the few who spoil it for
many, so that's the griefers, would be warned and dealt with. 

Also it would be the task of the Security Representative to keep the city safe and well defended. Because the fact that we are neutral doesn't mean the whole Galaxy is. And the militia is there to do just that. This of course includes Caartan and other outposts like mining facilities owned by Aartanians."

Due to the recent anouncement that anyone will be able to settle in our
fair city, how do you think this will affect A.R.M.E.D.'s role?

Yes that is a tricky one. With this latest news you talk about, in which the PA of Aartan Ridge might lose control over it's own founded city. 

I feel the militia may get an even bigger responsibility. A.R.M.E.D. might be needed in making sure all goes the way Aartan was intended to.  I believe all citizens will help built our city with all their heart, and the militia will do it's best to keep it the way it was founded. 

I personally would hate to see our city turn into something it shouldn't be, and I do believe the militia, together with the Council, have the power and the tools, and most important the Will to make sure it stays the way we want; A great Social and Fair city.

If you are elected what do you plan to do as Security Representative.

If I am elected to the position of Security Representative I'd probably
throw a huge party at Talons, were all drinks are on me for the evening. 

But seriously, the most important thing for me is that the Militia is there to protect. Protect the city and protect the citizens. Protection from
attack but also from things like the griefers that are will be around.

Those things might just be verbal assaults from l33k people. It will be a very social thing, and combat should be held to a minimum at all cost. 

We want to be a Safe city for everyone. For this combat should be a final resort, not a regular thing. These are the things that are most important to me, and it will be the
