game... I got a pretty good zabrak name from the name generator on
swg.stratics.com sometning like Zarchan Grath..well, if you know your
name know, can you tell me? I want to add it to my friends list when the
game finally arrives... hmmm,

I think you'll
find that nearly all of the member have their in-game names written in
bold at the top of they're sig. It's a little thing we agreed on
displaying when we decided on a name.

A while ago I
posted on the SWG official forum about some form of smallcraft dealership
in PA cities being run by an NPC or player owned.
The only good answer I got was "Yes, you will probably be able to
sell them. There will probably also be some NPC vendors to begin
with."
Do you think this is correct or can we only buy them from NPC's?
I don't remember seeing any type of vehicle mechanic as a profession
either.

the vehicle designer
profession was cut from launch a long time ago.
They do have plans to add multi seater vehicles to the game - expect that
when the space expansion hits or later, this is prob when the vehicle
designer profession will debut.

was really disappointed when I first read
that multi-player vehicles where cut from release. I had always imagined
travelling from city to city with a bunch of companions in the same
speeder...
And then there where people who wanted to run transport services on the
planets like taxi services...guess we can only hope for this after release
or when the space expansion is released like Kes mentioned.

I thought there was
only going to be 2 vehichles and both 1 seat each but customizable to a
degree.
They will be adding more options thought after release as in more
vehichles.

It's been a while
since this has come up and we have a lot of new members so I figure let's
fan the flames again.
For the new folk here, we have narrowed it down to Talus or Corellia and
the current plan is to check them both out in game but there's no harm in
giving a preference before hand, you never know we might have a clear
majority now.

Notice that I am not biased in anyway.
Also if an agreement was reached that I am not aware of then I apologise
as I have seen a few posts where Talus is mentioned as being our home and
no counter posts in favour of Corellia.

Same reasons (there has been many good arguements from both sides on this
discussion) but I just think Corellia will be a magnet for l33t players
and it will be completely over run due to it's popularity.
I'd just like to enforce again that Corellia is the planet with
swamps...not Talus. Talus to me seems the
obvious choice for a really dynamic user-oriented planet. Anyway all of us
who arrived before Caartan was formed decided...Talus!!

My current personal preference lies with Corellia, however; as
has been decided before:
We need to spend some time in the
game, looking around and weighing up the real pros and cons
and then voting. NOT choosing on a handfull of screenies
On a brighter note, I'm just saying this for the benefit of
the n00bs.
